Terrific TEN!

This week was the milestone ten-mile run! I wasn't able to run with the group on saturday because I was scheduled to work for my internship. However, out group was schedued to bring after-the-run food, so I came out for the pre-run talk to drop off the food I brought. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood, perhaps a little daunted by double digit mileage.

Since I wasn't able to go on the 10 mile run with the group on saturday, I did the run on my own around USC today (Monday)! It was difficult to do the run listening only to the sound of my footsteps and making five laps around the perimiter of USC's campus, but the good feeling afterwards made it all worthwhile!

Ever said to yourself; "I wish I could buy a body part"? Well today is your lucky day! Because I am auctioning off my body parts to raise money for this AIDS marathon. Before you get too horrified, let me clarify; what I'm offering is the chance to have your name (or whatever you want, withing reason) written on a part of my body during the marathon in December! All you have to do is make a donation in my name to APLA in any of the following amounts:

$250 - Leg
$500 - Arm
$700 - Shirt
$1000+ - Face

Then email me (kboynton@usc.edu) what you would like written on the body part you have bought, adn I will mail you a certificate of ownership for that part right away, and a picture of your name written on that part after the race in December! PLus you get the bragging rights of buying a body part AND helping in the fight against AIDS; it's a win-win!
