Back to Eight
This week we tapered our training mileage back to 8 miles, which was more difficult than I anticipated- most likely due to the fact that I started playing Soccer at USC again (I was called 'out of retirement' after the freshman goalkeeper broke her ankle), and there is a lot of running involved with that...my legs are really getting used a lot all of the sudden!
Anyway, the eight mile course took us down the Santa Monica boardwalk to the Venice jetty and back. Meghan came out and volunteered to give water to the runners in our group, and it was great to have her company on the drive over, although I didn’t need the fundraising credit we receive from bringing volunteers because-
WE’VE RAISED ALL $3,000!
Thanks to all of you who have given so generously- You have made lives better for people living with HIV and AIDS, and your support of my marathon means the a lot!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
AIDS Fact:
